Beach Renourishment

From Spring into Summer 2002.

4/13/02 Sand-barred "The 845-foot-long Great Lakes Trader, with its 10,200-horsepower twin engines, wasn't strong enough to push a sand bar out of the way so it could enter the harbor channel."   In other words, it got stuck.
		And the view to Big Red at Holland State Park
Time to remove 2400 yards of sand	and renourish the beach.
MCM Marine Inc. of Sault Ste. Marie moves the sand around on the beach that was dredged from Holland's channel.
